Teaching Philosophy
Learning to play the violin can be a rewarding, enriching, and wonderful experience if done in a non-judgemental environment. As a teacher, I draw from the methods of Shinichi Suzuki, Paul Rolland, and Mimi Zweig to provide a positive and comprehensive approach to violin playing.
My focus is to teach my students beautiful technique so they can make beautiful music. This means that learning songs is a tool in the process of learning to play the violin.
This type of training requires dedicated practice, artistic repetition and positive attitude on the part of the teacher, the parent, and the student.
